Free PreK Parent Workshops

What is the Ready! for Kindergarten Program?

Ready! for Kindergarten classes are FREE online & self-paced workshops for parents/caregivers of children ages birth to five years old who live in the Shelton School District. Through “play and learn” activities, these classes will give you the knowledge and tools you need to help your children get ready for school.

When and where are workshops?

Workshops are online and self-paced. You may pause and return to the workshop at another time.  Each workshop takes approximately 1 hour to complete. Once you register to take a workshop, you will need to wait to be manually approved to start the workshop.  Once you get approved, you will receive an email that you may start your workshop.

Once the workshop is completed, you will be prompted to fill out an online form where you can leave comments and also schedule a time to pick up your free tool kit.

Fall Workshops: October 1-30, 2023

Winter Workshops: January 29- February 26, 2024
