On Thursday, January 14 from 6:00-8:00 PM our elementary school counselors hosted another Evening Parenting Forum in which they provided strategies for parents and students in understanding how to cope with issues surrounding trauma and stress while providing resources to help support our school families. The topics the counselors covered included understanding the different developmental stages of trauma and stress related to remote learning challenges and preparing students if/when we return back to school. We also had representatives from the Committee For Children as part of our panel to share resources and websites that families together can access. Please go to the Links below to see the recorded presentations. We recorded them in both English and Spanish.
We want to thank Aaron Miller from the District Tech department for making these links available.
