We want to hear from you!

Shelton School District Staff & Families,

It's hard to believe that this week marks the end of the 19-20 school year! Congratulations to the graduating class of 2020, and to all our students and families for persevering through the challenges the last few months have brought among us. We have missed you, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back to school.

As you may know, the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) recently released guidelines for the re-opening of schools, with more guidance expected over the next several weeks. To plan for a safe return to school, we have established a Re-Opening of Schools committee, which consists of 7 sub-committees: Social/Emotional Needs and Support, Instruction, Operations, Transportation, Nutrition, Policy Review, Safety & Security, Sports/Co-Curricular PK-12 Programs, and Communications. The committees are comprised of school board members, district administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, students, and community members who will continue to work through the summer to ensure we are prepared for the challenges of the coming school year. We are moving rapidly toward a mid-July announcement of our reentry plan.

Your feedback is a critical component of our planning. Please share your thoughts as we plan for the re-opening of schools by taking a brief anonymous survey. We ask that surveys are completed by Wednesday, June 24. Please click on the appropriate link below:
