Sign-up today for a free 4 part cooking series taught by professional nutritionists! When: Feb 13, 20, 27 & March 5, 2020

(Important: You must be able to attend all four dates as the content and skills build upon one another)

Time: 5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Where: Transit-Community Center - 601 W. Franklin Street

 

Details:

  • HEAT Cooking Classes are open to anyone over the age of 16 in Shelton School District or the community
  • A Spanish interpreter will be on-site if requested
  • Free childcare will be provided

HEAT Cooking Classes are hands-on and interactive. During class you will:

  • Cook a meal with the help of a professional nutritionist
  • Learn about nutrition labels
  • Practice knife skills
  • Look at portion control and the food groups
  • Taste your meal
  • Gain knowledge on thrifty meal shopping and meal planning
  • Have fun!
