CHOICE High School Celebrates 35 Years!

(Date Posted 5/10/2019)

On May 8th, 2019, past and present staff, students, families, and community members gathered to celebrate CHOICE High School’s 35th anniversary.  Memories were shared while walking down “memory lane” which was comprised of news articles, artwork, photos, old yearbooks, and other memories of CHOICE throughout the years, exhibiting the evolution over time.

CHOICE Reunion

Former students recognized individual staff members’ that loved, supported, and pushed them to succeed.  Comradery and a sense of pride were felt in the room listening to past and present staff and students sharing how their time at CHOICE shaped them into who they are today.

A big thank you goes out to everyone that shared their stories and well-wishes, including: former student and current staff member, Diva Nation; Principal, Stacey Anderson; Superintendent, Dr. Alex Apostle; former students, Maria Littlesun and Javier Navarrete; former teachers, Ron Grinnell and Sue Barnard; and current students, Eli Gaa and Trinity Fewell.  A shout out also goes to everyone that had a hand in organizing this event.

Shelton School District is proud of every single person that has played in role in CHOICE High School’s history and is excited to see where the next 35 years will lead.
