Olympic Middle School Students Prepare Transition To Oakland Bay Jr High

(Date Posted 1/7/2019)

6th & 7th-grade Transition Information

As you are aware the Shelton School District is transitioning to a grade level 7-8 junior high school in September 2019.  That means students who are currently in 6th & 7th grade will attend Oakland Bay Jr High (OBJH) when school resumes in September.

In order to help this transition be as smooth as possible for both students and parents, we have scheduled a series of Information Nights to help with the transition.  During these information nights, we will outline the program at OBJH, and what students and parents can expect as well as answer parent questions.

Opportunities will be ongoing, students and families are invited to attend one or more of these meetings to help students with the transition to Oakland Bay Jr High.  Be sure to look for further information coming from your building principal.
