Olympic Middle School WEB Day is Coming Soon!

Olympic Middle School is "Where Everybody Belongs"  6th graders are invited to attend out special WEB Day to help them become acquainted with our school.  August 22, 2018, we will welcome incoming 6th graders for a special school event to become familiar with our building and reduce those first day jitters. Parents and 7th-grade students are invited to attend an open house after the WEB Events.

WEB Leaders!  Look for information coming in the mail about your Training Days.

Web Day for 6th Grade August 22, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Open House 6th Grade August 22, 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Open House 7th Grade August 22, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Incoming 6th graders need to be sure they have received their Tdap booster AFTER their 11th birthday.

Standard School Hours 8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.
1 1/2 Hour Early Release 8:00 a.m. - 1:10 p.m.
3 Hour Early Release 8:00 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
2 Hour Late Start 10:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.


Please provide these materials:  One LARGE 3-ring binder. Look for heavy-duty construction to make it last!

 Dividers for 6 subjects.  Pencil pouch (may substitute a strong ziplock bag, folded over to push rings through).

 Lined notebook paper for daily assignments (white or recycled but not colored).

 #2 Pencils. (NOT mechanical!) Buy lots and lots to keep at home for later in the year.

 Erasers. (Buy lots of these too when prices are low!)

 Colored pencils & a covered pencil sharpener.

 Small box of crayons.  Highlighters  Solid glue sticks – 4.

 2 or 3 boxes of tissue (to be given to Advisory teacher during the first week of school).

 Scissors.


PE Clothes – Students will need a blue t-shirt, black shorts, socks, and tennis shoes that tie. (T-shirts and black shorts may be purchased at OMS for $12.00. T-shirt=$4.00 Black shorts=$8.00)

6 th Grade only: 4 composition notebooks, 2 bottles of school glue. Optional: Inexpensive earbuds (to be used with Chrome Books.) They must be able to be stored in a pencil pouch.


7 th Grade only: 2 spiral notebooks, with wire binding, not the type with rip out pages.

DO NOT bring permanent markers or whiteout, please!
