Community Update: Head Football Coaching Position Closes

The search for a Head Football Coach in Shelton continued with the coaching position being reposted on March 1st after the initial coaching interviews ended without filling the position.  The position for Head Football Coach closed just days before Spring Break, on March 28th.

Applicants are currently being screened in preparation for the interview phase.  Interviews for the coaching position will take place between April 26-27, 2018. Finding an energetic, dynamic, motivated and committed coach is a high priority.  Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, a positive attitude and approach as well as have a deep understanding of the sport. They must also exhibit a desire and willingness to work with the local youth football program.  The head coach will be responsible for the organization and management of the entire football program. It is important to the district to find a coach who will lead our student-athletes to the highest standards of sportsmanship on and off the field and to become respectable, responsible students and citizens in our community.

If an acceptable candidate is found we anticipate a decision will be made by May 4, 2018.
