After School Academic Help Comes to Oakland Bay Jr High

After School Achievement Program-ASAP

Oakland Bay Junior High now offers an after-school program to support students’ academic achievement.

The goals of the After School Achievement Program are:

  • Build reading, writing and math skills in students who are showing gaps in their learning.
  • Give students an opportunity for support on class work and homework in order to pass classes and stay on track to graduation.

Days:  Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time:  2:30 – 4:30

Location:  OBJH Library (or other classrooms - room will be posted on library door)

Students who attend will sign in and fill out an emergency card so the supervisors of the program have an emergency contact. 

An Activity Bus is available at 4:45 for students to take home.  Students must sign up for the Activity Bus at the office window by the end of school.  

 

Programa de Rendimiento Después de  EscuelaLo más pronto posible

Oakland Bay Junior High está comenzando un programa después de  escuela para apoyar el logro académico de los estudiantes.

Los objetivos del Programa  Después de Escuela son:

  • Construir habilidades de lectura, escritura y matemáticas en los estudiantes que están mostrando bajo rendimiento en su aprendizaje.
  • Dar a los estudiantes una oportunidad de apoyo en el trabajo de la clase y la tarea para pasar las clases y permanecer en el camino de la graduación.

Días: Martes y Jueves

Tiempo: 2:30 - 4:30

Ubicación: Biblioteca de OBJH (u otro salón de clases será  notificado en la puerta de la biblioteca)

Los estudiantes que asistan firmarán y llenarán una tarjeta de emergencia para que los supervisores del programa tengan un contacto de emergencia.

Un autobús de actividad está disponible a las 4:45pm para que los estudiantes vayan a casa. Los estudiantes deben inscribirse para el Autobús de Actividades en la ventana de la oficina al final de la escuela.
